How to join the Historical Society of Fort Meade?

Nothing makes us happier than to be your tour guide through the Museum and Train. Museum hours are Tues. Wed. and Thurs. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. But if you would like to visit during our off hours, text the day before to 863/804-8691 to make an appointment.

VOLUNTEERS

The more volunteers we have -the more hours we can be open. If you would to see if this is something you would like to do, please send an email (Contact Us) so we can meet. You'll fit right in and you'll find that we are fun and always busy.

want to donate items?

We accept items and documents that meet these requirements:

1. Must be 50 years old or more.

2. Must pertain directly to Fort Meade history - family, business, school

3. Consider duplications .. how many do we already have?

4. Gifted items become property of the Historical Society upon agreement contract.

5. Loaned items may be returned to owner upon agreement contract.
